Melody (Brazilian singer)

Melody (born February 4, 2007) is a Brazilian pop melodic funk singer, songwriter, and YouTuber, formerly known as MC Melody, and the daughter of MC Belinho and sister of Bella Angel. The Portuguese Wikipedia, the reference most Brazilian outlets follow, records her birth name as Gabriela de Abreu Severino, while some databases write "Gabriella Abreu Severino".[^c1][^c2][^c3][^c4]. She broke through in 2022 when "Pipoco" topped the Spotify Brazil chart, making her the youngest artist to reach that position[^c7].

Her career has since broadened into mainstream recognition and commercial success.
